Hello Anna is the true story of Bryan and Anna — two people from opposite sides of the world who met online despite speaking different languages and living thousands of miles apart.
Bryan lived in America.
Anna lived in Russia.
At the time they met, neither of them could speak the other’s language fluently. Through patience, determination, Google Translate, Skype, late-night conversations, and a willingness to take a chance on love, they slowly built a relationship across continents.
What began as an online friendship became a life-changing journey involving long-distance communication, cultural differences, international travel, immigration challenges, family adjustments, and eventually building a life together in America.
This blog documents that journey.
Inside you’ll find:
The story of how we met
Long-distance relationship experiences
Russian and American cultural differences
Immigration and travel stories
Family life and adventures
Personal reflections and memories
Photos and videos from our journey together
Hello Anna is ultimately a story about communication, perseverance, trust, and finding connection despite enormous obstacles.
We hope our story inspires others who believe that love can cross borders, languages, and cultures.
